A Prophetic Message from Mother Mary: Practicing Humility in the Way of Holiness

By Brigetta Margarietta | Spirit Love Song™

Each week at Spirit Love Song™, I spend time in prayer, asking Heaven to release a word of love and blessing for all who read these messages. Today, in the stillness of prayer, Mother Mary came with a gentle teaching on humility—a virtue close to her heart, and one that she longs to see flourishing in us, her beloved children.

Her words were tender, like the sound of soft rain on thirsty soil. And yet, beneath that tenderness was strength—the strength of a mother who knows that humility is not weakness, but the very foundation of holiness and union with God.

What Mother Mary Speaks About Humility

“My little ones, humility is the ground where God plants His greatness. When you choose to bow low in spirit, you are not diminished—you are enlarged by His presence. For humility makes space for God, and in that space, He fills you with light, peace, and strength.”

Mother Mary reminds us that humility is not about thinking poorly of ourselves or denying the gifts God has placed within us. Instead, it is about surrendering pride, releasing control, and trusting fully in God’s wisdom. Humility is the soil that allows love to grow.

When she first said “yes” to God in the Annunciation, Mary was not seeking glory or recognition. Her fiat—“Let it be done unto me according to your word”—was an act of holy humility. She trusted God’s plan without demanding proof or guarantees. And through that humble yes, salvation entered the world.

Why Humility Is a Path to Holiness

Mary’s message is clear: humility leads us closer to holiness because it keeps our hearts pure and open. When pride rules, we become rigid, self-focused, and closed off. But when we walk in humility, we are pliable in the hands of God, like clay in the Potter’s hands.

“The humble heart,” she says, “is a resting place for my Son. Where humility dwells, Jesus delights to remain. Do not fear to be little, for in littleness you become great in Heaven.”

Think of the life of Jesus Himself. Though He was God, He humbled Himself to become human, to live in simplicity, and to serve rather than be served. His greatest act of love—the Cross—was also His greatest act of humility.

If Christ Himself embraced humility as the way to redeem the world, how much more must we, as His disciples, walk this same path?

A Mother’s Invitation to Us

Mary invites us to practice humility not as a heavy burden, but as a daily joy. She whispers:

“Smile at those who do not see you. Serve where no one claps. Forgive without waiting for apology. Give without keeping score. In these hidden acts of love, you reflect the heart of my Son.”

How practical, how simple this call truly is. We often imagine holiness as something distant and lofty, but Mother Mary reminds us that holiness grows in the hidden places of life. A kind word, a gentle act, a moment of silent prayer—these are the seeds of Heaven planted on earth.

Encouragement for the Weary Heart

Many of us wrestle with pride, comparison, or the need to be noticed. Mother Mary understands this human struggle, and she comforts us:

“Do not be discouraged if pride rises within you. Return quickly to humility by looking at the Cross. The gaze of Jesus will soften your heart. Ask me, your Mother, to help you. I will lead you by the hand, for I too learned to walk the humble way.”

In her words, we sense both compassion and encouragement. Humility is not something we must perfect overnight—it is a lifelong journey of softening, surrendering, and loving.

A Prayer to Practice Humility

Here is a prayer inspired by Mother Mary’s message. You may wish to pray it slowly, letting the words settle deep within your soul:

Mother Mary, gentle and pure,
Teach me the joy of humility.
Help me to empty my heart of pride,
That Jesus may find His rest within me.
Guide me to serve with love,
To forgive without measure,
And to rejoice in hiddenness.
May my life reflect your Son,
Who humbled Himself for my salvation.
Amen.

Walking Forward in the Spirit of Humility

This week, I invite you to take one small step of humility. Perhaps it means allowing someone else to go first in line, or giving thanks quietly for an unnoticed blessing, or asking forgiveness with sincerity. Each humble step, however small, is a way of drawing nearer to Jesus.

Mother Mary is with us on this journey. She does not ask for perfection, but for willingness. With her loving intercession, humility can become not a burden, but a beautiful pathway of freedom and grace.

Final Blessing

As I closed my time in prayer, Mother Mary left a final word of blessing:

“My beloved children, when you humble yourselves, you are lifted into God’s embrace. Fear not to bend low, for Heaven itself will stoop to meet you. In humility, you will find peace, and in peace, you will find God.”

May her maternal love draw you deeper into the heart of Jesus this week. And may the Holy Spirit strengthen you to walk in humility, joy, and holiness.
